Key Considerations for Introducing New Foods Daily

1. Watch for Allergies:

• It’s generally recommended to introduce one common allergen at a time such as eggs, peanuts, or wheat. This allows you to monitor your baby for any allergic reactions, which might include symptoms like rashes, vomiting, diarrhea, or difficulty breathing.

• If your baby has a family history of food allergies, it might be best to introduce new foods more slowly and consult with your pediatrician beforehand.

• When introducing a new allergen to your child, it’s important not to offer any other new foods (allergen or not) on the same day. Stick to foods that have already been safely introduced in the past. This approach helps you clearly identify any potential reactions to the new allergen and ensures your child’s safety.
