This week, I’m sharing a realistic, no-fuss meal plan that balances nutrition and sanity. These ideas are toddler-approved, screen-free, and designed to help you breathe easier at mealtime.
The Fuss-Free Weekly Meal Plan
MONDAY
• Breakfast: Ragi pancakes with ghee and banana
• Lunch: Dal chawal with aloo-beetroot sabzi
• Snack: Roasted makhana + a small fruit
• Dinner: Vegetable khichdi with a spoon of homemade ghee
TUESDAY
• Breakfast: Poha with veggies + coconut
• Lunch: Paneer bhurji, multigrain roti & curd
• Snack: Chikki bites + tender coconut water
• Dinner: Moong dal cheela + mint chutney
WEDNESDAY
• Breakfast: Steamed idli with ghee + fruit
• Lunch: Lemon rice with cucumber raita
• Snack: Fruit lassi + murmura mix
• Dinner: Palak paratha + mashed sweet potato
THURSDAY
• Breakfast: Suji upma with veggies
• Lunch: Rajma rice + sautéed carrots
• Snack: Boiled corn with butter & a dash of lime
• Dinner: Vegetable oats porridge with ajwain
FRIDAY
• Breakfast: Oats banana pancakes with nut butter
• Lunch: Mix veg pulao with curd
• Snack: Cheese sticks + dry fruits
• Dinner: Moong dal soup + soft roti pieces
SATURDAY
• Breakfast: Thepla with curd
• Lunch: Stuffed paratha with mixed veggie filling
• Snack: Watermelon sticks + puffed rice
• Dinner: Rice with toor dal + ghee sautéed lauki
SUNDAY
• Breakfast: French toast with fruit
• Lunch: Homemade veg pasta with hidden veggies
• Snack: Smoothie bowl with seeds
• Dinner: Veg daliya khichdi with jeera tadka
Tips to Make This Work:
• Rotate favorites but keep offering rejected foods without pressure.
• Stay chill. Kids eat better when we’re not hovering or bargaining.
